Hi,

I'm using WSAD 5.1.2. When I importthe exisiting projects using "project intrechange" server settings are not coming up properly. All the files related to server are in the "servers" folder but if i look at the server configuration it will be blank ( there wont be any tree node saying server name) , moreover if i double click on the "defaultserver.wsi" i shows the error message "unable to create part:".Has anyone faced this issue ? I tried all possible ways but all my efforts were in vain. I appretiate any help on this.

Thanks,
Rajeev.

Rajeev,
I haven't seen that error on a server. I have seen it when editing JSPs though, so it may be related. In that case, the version of Xerces I am using is incompatible with the default.

hey Jeanne,

Thanks for the reply. I have one question. If i configure my WSAD local server in Windows 2000 and import the same in Windows XP does it make any issues ? Someone was telling me about the security issues with XP but i didnt quite understand it.. Are you aware of this kind of situation ?

Thanks,
Rajeev.

Rajeev,
I'm not familiar with the details either, but Win XP security is different. Either way, you should get prompted for a username/password when opening the admin console.
