My client a leading financial bank, is in the process of implementing a core banking application "SYMBOLS" provided by System Access, Philipines. The UAT of the application encountered almost 800 errors, for which program and data patches were applied.
Ths system is developed using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and JAVA tools and working in Unix environment
A mass re-conciliation was performed after UAT errors were rectified before starting of Regression testing.

After mass re-compilation, a number of forms found to execute in unexpected behaviour.

Some of the problems faced are stated below:
1. Some fields are not defaulting
2. Form does not respond to function key primarily Save or F10.
3. 'Unable to resolve reference...' problem

The exceptional forms where problem was encountered were re-compiled separately without any modification using similar compilation procedure. Afterwhich, the said forms performed as expected.

Your urgent reply will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
