is there any way to reload a servlet without restarting the container?
perhaps dealing with tomcat classloader.

The Tomcat Management Application allows you to do just that. The documentation was installed with tomcat in the tomcat-docs directory. You will need to modify the tomcat-users.xml file to provide a manager role and user in that role.

no, i'd want to reload a single servlet within the same web application.......... i.e. i want to create a servlet thet reloads another servlet of the same app. any ideas?
