Hi

When installing the current version of Tomcat 5.5 on a computer where Tomcat 5.0 is installed, I get an error at the point of installing the new Service. One already exists.
The Abort, Retry, Ignore prompt comes up.

Do I need to uninstall the previous version (5.0)?

Is this really necessary? It is a bit confusing to a customer of mine.

Is there another way?

Is it a problem with the installer?

Regards

Max

Uninstalling a program is confusing your client?

Perhaps you should go onsite and do the upgrade yourself, if they're confused about a little thing like an uninstall, then they're sure to be confused about much, much more.
