how can i run GWT project in Apache sever?

how can run GWT project in to Apache server??
i want to place my existing GWT project in to apache server webapps directory but for that i have to change web.xml file??
i dont know how to do that and how to run the file??
please help me in this.

1. Im going to assume you mean the Tomcat server, most people hear "Apache server" and think the Apache web server that does not in itself do servlets.

2. What do you actually have running at the present time? Can you run the examples that come with the GWT (Google Web Toolkit)?

3. Have you gotten Tomcat installed and running?
