Hi everyone,

i am a student, i am now try to use jboss instead of using tomcat in my exercise. but i found that there are 2 web.xml in jboss package
one in:
C:\jboss-4.0.1\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat50.sar\ROOT.war\WEB-INF\
the other one in:
c:\jboss-4.0.1\server\default\deploy\jmx-console.war\WEB-INF\web.xml

why have so many web.xml in one server ?

thanks

There will be one web.xml per web application.Root.war and jmx-console.war are 2 different web app. I suggest you to read the Sun tutorial on web application deployment.
