Hi,

I'm trying to look up ejb remotely. I got it working wrom standalone java application but if I want to make remote lookup in web application deployed to jboss I get following exception:

java.lang.ClassCastException: cannot assign instance of org.jboss.remoting.InvokerLocator to field org.jboss.ejb3.stateless.StatelessRemoteProxy.uri of type org.jboss.remoting.InvokerLocator in instance of org.jboss.ejb3.stateless.StatelessRemoteProxy

thanks in advance

See if this helps. Maybe its because of a classloader issue. Use the jmx-console method mentioned in that wiki.
