Hi,

While trying to start JBoss server 4.2.3, I am getting the following error. I am using jdk1.5.0_01 and JAVA_HOME and JBOSS_HOME are properly set. I was trying after downloading JBoss 4.2.3, unzipped it and set the system properties.

I think you downloaded the JDK6 version of JBoss-4.2.3 and are running it with JDK5. You will either have to use JDK6 or download the JDK5 version of JBoss-4.2.3 (available at the same download page).

Its working now. I was using JBoss JDK 6 version. I downloaded correct version and everything working fine now.

I am also facing the same problem which pradip was facing.

I tried searching for Jboss 4.2.3 GA version for jdk5 but i am not ableto find it.

Please let me know where exactly i can find the Jboss 4.2.3GA version for JDK5.

Please help. Its really urgent.

Here. Download the "jboss-4.2.3.GA.zip" which is the JDK 5 variant. The JDK6 variant is "jboss-4.2.3.GA-jdk6.zip"
