The book covers more audio than probably any other book on digital video--after all, you're not making silent movies! And it's the audio (especially the music and other ambient sounds) that tell you how to *feel* about what you're actually seeing.
But we don't assume that you're a musician, so we cover tools that are accessible to anyone wanting to put together soundtracks/music for their digital videos regardless of their musical ability
. We cover Soundtrack, Garageband, SonicFire Pro (an *amazing* tool for creating soundtracks that fit exactly to your video, and can transition based on the *mood* that you've defined for the music).
Wow -- I didn't expect any questions on javaranch related to *that* book, but there you go
I'm not sure where we'll be discussing the book when it's released.
It's fun to work on though, when I need a break from Java code!
cheers,
Kathy
