But if there is approach then it might be suitable in some applications. As of now im not able to know in what type of situations it is required.
Please, can any one make this clear by showing an example.

There is no scenario that mandates extending Thread rather than implementing Runnable that I am aware of.

If a design requires Applet object to act as a Thread, then using Runnable inteface becomes obligatory.

I have been holding my tongue, but it saddens me to see our Indian friends glorify a cricketer on one day and vilify them the next. One thing you can be sure of - with this treatment, an out-or-form player will never regain form and you will never rival Australia

Ganguly's case is a very special. Here one out of form player doesnt want to lose his place in team at any cost. He is ready to anything for it, a few of things are: 1) Using family contacts (Dalmia) 2) Creating rift in team 3) Influencing opponents for his century in domestic matches etc.
Its not a Sport any more, its all politics. Indians have praised Ganguly when he deserved it, he has been given enough chances to regain his form but if its not working he should consider country's interest & not just resort to politics to save his position. Worst effect of this is people will just remember Ganguly's off-field blunders and not glorious on field charisma in past.

Auzi batsman Lehman happily sacrified his place in team to pave way for young talented Clarke. He was playing reasonably good at that time but he accepted Clarke is exceptionally good. That is called the spirit.

Ganguly is dreaming of staying forever in the team on his past glories, which is unacceptable. Also path he has chosen for his dreams can never be tolerated.

I have to develop a WebCalendar which is almost similar to Yahoo Calendar .
If anyone has got any open source for the same, please let me know. It would be very useful.

Required features:
1. Event addition - will have to customize it to add my specific attributes for the event.
2. Day View, Week View, Month View, Year View
3. List of Events
4. servlet based

I did get one such location but it just provides the executable. Customization not possible in that case.

thanks

If Ganguly goes Tendulkar will also go.

I believe time has not yet come for Tendulkar to leave Indian Team. Its just that he was Exceptionally Terrific player in old times, and now he is just Very Good player. So the change is huge but still there is enough potential to surpass bright-players-pool in India to claim his well deserved place in team.

I read somewhere Ganguly quoting 'He is going through a bad patch, he just need a series or two to get his rhythm back.' - What the hell is he thinking? Does Indian team is there so that he can get his rhythm back? Is that the reason India is playing international matches? National team has to be the team of players with best of their form, and best among all at any point of time. He should practice in domestic matches, try to get his rhythm back (if he honestly feel he can), and then think of returning back to national team. If he does India will accept him whole heartedly if doesnt still India would praise him for his past performances even though he is out of team. But this ideology wont work for him as its not about respect & praise but its more about power, ego & money.

Ganguly is not left with a single bit of self respect (probably never had any). Almost whole india belive that Ganguly is burdon to already weak indian team. Earlier it was ok when gr8 form of Tendulkar made allowance for gr8 hollowness of small g, but not anymore. He is there just because of Dalmia who is using his exceptionally good administrative powers in exceptionally wrong way. Pawar has to come to power to get rid of Dalmia and so Small g....may God offer pawar enough powers...

If they can make the $$$ without needing to win the games then they get good reliable returns for shareholders
