The simplest solution for you is to come and settle down in Chennai, the spitting capital of the country. Its perfectly normal to do that here, in fact people will consider you abnormal only if you don't spit on the road in Chennai. Its impossible to walk 10 yards without seeing a spit mark on your way.

I reduced about 14 kgs of weight when I was in the US. There is no short cut. I used to run hard till I was about to drop. I would be very careful with my diet eating salads, fruits and low fat items. I almost halved my intake of rice. After doing this for about 6 months, I lost my big pot belly and became very lean. Some people used to ask me whether I am suffering from some sickness bcos I became so thin. But I did not like my skinny appearance and after coming back to India, I gained about 8 kgs of weight.

Here are my vacation requirements

1. I am staying in Tamil Nadu and looking for a place not too far from tamil nadu

2. The vacation should be inexpensive

3. There should be lots of sightseeing opportunities with natural scenic beauty like lakes or waterfalls or tea gardens or whatever

4. Most importantly, the weather now should be dry

5. Looking to spend about 5 days

I am sure there will be a lot of less known places in Karnataka, AP or TN itself (Kerala would be too rainy now). Please let me know if you are aware of any such places meeting the above requirements

The scientist kamalhaasan who gets united with the lead actress Asin towards the end of the film - are they meant to be understood as rebirths / reincarnations of Rangaraja Nambi (who is killed at the beginning of the movie)and his wife? They get separated at the beginning of the movie and they get united again towards the end (in a different life). Is this how the story is to be understood?

And how is chaos theory and butterfly effect related to the story exactly? I didnt quite understand. Just wanted to get your opinions before watching the movie again.

I have installed the Oracle Service Registry on a separate OC4J instance called registry without errors. I have also done the following steps to configure HTTPS given in the user guide.

1. Delete the file <OC4J_HOME>/j2ee/home/keystore if it exists.

2. Generate the server identity into <OC4J_HOME>/j2ee/home/keystore using the Java keytool as follows:
keytool -genkey -keyalg RSA -alias oracle -keystore <OC4J_HOME>/j2ee/home/keystore -storepass
<PASSWORD>

3. Enabling SSL in the Oracle Application Server Standalone

4. Copy <OC4J_HOME>/j2ee/home/config/http-web-site.xml to <OC4J_HOME>/j2ee/home/config/secure-website.
xml.

5. Edit <OC4J_HOME>/j2ee/home/config/secure-web-site.xml by changing the port and adding the parameter secure="
true" to the <web-site> element; for example:
<web-site port="4443" ... secure="true">

6. Add the following element into the into the <web-site> element, use absolute path to keystore file, for example:
<ssl-config keystore="<OC4J_HOME>/j2ee/home/keystore" keystore-password="<PASSWORD>"/>

7. Add the path reference to secure-web-site.xml into the file server.xml; for example:
<web-site path="./secure-web-site.xml" />

8. You have to change the <web-app> definition for the OracleAS Service Registry n both files, http-web-site and
secure-web-site, so the OracleAS does not create independent instances for each of the websites. Add a
shared="true" attribute to the <web-app> elements for the OracleAS Service Registry application.

After following these steps, I restarted OPMN. I am able to get the Oracle Service Registry console. When I click on the Publish link, it shows the Security Alert Window. After I click on Yes in the security alert window, it just shows "Page cannot be displayed". The same happens for all the secure links such as login. I even tried exporting the certificate through the Security Alert window, but still it does not work. All the HTTP links in the Service Registry console are working and the HTTPS links are all not working. I believe this should be an SSL configuration issue. Please let me know whether I have missed any steps in the security configuration.

Thanks,

I have written a web service and generated a WSDL for it(using JDeveloper). I just want to practise publishing it to any UDDI registry and finding it through the UDDI registry GUI / programmatically. I see that most of the public UDDI registries seem to be closed like UBR, Systinet live etc. Could someone give me the link to some working public UDDI registry that has instructions to register, publish and find WSDL based web services?

Thanks,

I read every line of the Spring in Action - 1 book. There was not a single line that I struggled to understand. A very simple and lucid style of writing thats almost like a conversation. Spring in Action is very close to a "Head First" book.
There were a few errors and incomplete details in a few places, but still the book is a must buy.

Agreed that a manager has to do all that is stated above. But how much effort does he put in towards doing all this and how challenging is the work? Compare that with the effort that a developer puts in and the challenges a technical person faces. There is a big difference. Then the technical persons should be getting paid a lot more than the managers right? But why is it that the person who does the easier non-technical part and puts in much less effort than the person who slogs is getting paid more? I agree that managers are needed, but they should be paid a lot less than the technical people, probably half.
