I work for a medium size financial company with a bias against open source. The attraction for my company of proprietary solutions is that generally the proprietor can be held to account and support arrangements are a little easier to sell to the accountants. Open source has all kinds of cost advantages for things like licensing software and so on. But what do everyone see as the killer argument for going open source especially in the SOA space?
