studied my brains out for the past 3 weeks or so, took the test today and scored a 64. though i'm not thrilled about my score, i am happy i passed and want to thank the folks at javaranch, levteck, marcus green, maha anna, and bill brogden. i was scoring in the 70-85% range on the exam cram tests and marcus' mock exams.
i was pretty nervous going in, and the first 3 or 4 questions were pretty tough questions about threads, which kind of freaked me out. i had trouble recovering. also, the effects of the large iced tea i slurped down 15 minutes before the test did not do anything to help my concentration!
looking back, i wish i would have taken another few weeks to study - including doing more actual coding while studying, as many of you kind folks have suggested. and i wish i would have gotten a small iced tea.
ps - is it 'polite' for potential employers or co-workers to ask about the sjcp score? if so, is it 'polite' for me to change the subject?
