I am 19 years old, and I have been interested in programming ever since learning HTML during my sophomore year of High School. I learned CSS within the year and loved that as well, however, you can't write programs with these languages. I took a Java class in my senior year of high school but did terribly, with no motivation or desire.
This motivation was rekindled during my freshman year at college, where I switched from a Computer Engineering to Computer Science major, took an elementary class in C++ (currently learning--it is fun!) and a side project developing a trivia game for my Physics professor (for credits--this is what I am registering for!).
I hope to receive help so I can learn Java effectively, and eventually give it back once I have learned it, and other languages. |
