i took the test yesterday here in south florida, i must be honest and tell you that i have studied for a full 4 months and followed most of the advice from this site. my test was very difficult and i failed by one question!! i do plan to take the test again in one month. my test had about 5 fill in the blanks, several multiple choices that we code based ( 10 -15 lines) that had 5 differest choices to choose from. everything looked very familiar to me but the depth of memorization of all methods for file i/o and event methods and string and stringBuffer and different use of all forms of strings, integers, floats etc. was greater than i had anticipated, so although i feel and i had a thorough understanding of all objectives there is a greater depth of memorizing involved. so i will reread my 3 certification books and note all things related to everything, (methods and files and constructors, etc.)
i do feel i did alright since i don't have any programming experience, but i have had several computer programming classes at least 12 including a java class in which i received an A. so wish me luck and i will let you know in a month how i do.
