Hi ,
I have some questions for "How to"s in Jude:

Sequence Diagram
------------------
1.For the conditions, UML notes the specification should be "[condition] message text"
Whereas Jude creates it as "{condition} message text ".
Can I change the curly brackets to square brackets in Jude?
If not , what should I do? (Just put a note?)

2.For alternate flows, how to change the color ?

3.How to show a return arrow? I understand this is implicit.
But for alternate flows, I was thinking of putting a return arrow at the end of the flow completion.

Thanks Deepak.

That really helps. I shall take the shorter route.

I got confused at the pricing as:
Per the interview, the CIO is saying the price is based on destination and class. So does not it depend on date and time?

In real-world , the prices vary heavily depending on date and time of journey.

In particular , I was considering the following scenario:
In Change Itinerary , when a segment is changed, if the user changes only date or time but not the destination or departure cities.

In this will the price change for that segment?
I was thinking , yes it will change. But I just do not want to violate the requirements if I am assuming the price will change , incorrectly.

Looking for your comments , sugestions .

Congrats Tomas ! Great Score !!

Could you please tell your approach for the part II?

Congrats Fran.

For Part III,

1)Are the questions based on Part II assignment given to an individual?

Meaning the questions will be strictly related to the assignment given(e.g. why was a particular design decision made etc. )

Or they will be in general anything related with SCEA knowledge (e.g. (a)which are the situations to use CORBA and which are situations to use RMI (b) what are options for legacy connectivity )

2)Are the answers expected in great details?

thanks -

Hello All,

I am planning to use Rational Rose for Part II since I have used it extensively.

I was wondering whether it's a good choice or I have seen people on this forum different tools. So will it be worth to spend some time to learn one of these tools and use it for part II?

I would highly appreciate your recommendations for the tools you found effective.

Hi All,

I am preparing for my part II/part III.

Would appreciate if I can get some pointers on case studies and/or examples of the diagrams especially if I can see a whole solution (meaning all diagrams w.r.t. a problem).

I have gone through Marc Cade book's case study.

Thanks in advance-

Congrats Stanislav!!Good Score !!

How did you prepare for part II and III?

Hi,

I shall be taking my SCEA next week. Right now I am studying Design Patterns. I have used some of them.

What I am finding is, it's easy to study them as individual. But when I complete a group of them , it's getting difficult to remember the details of each of them.

Can anyone suggest efficient way/ tricks for Design Patterns study?

Thanks-
KV
