I am successfully authenticatin for one node of openLDAP directory, but I also have some users that are partof different node so they have different DN, how do one configures and tells Weblogic to look into either this on that baseDNs ?
IU have read in documentation following :

quite from weblogic doc :
If you store WebLogic Server users under multiple roots in your directory, you can specify these roots as user.dn.1, user.dn.2, and so on.

but where do I specify this?
thanks in advance

that is exactly what I was asking, those are the two versions that I am interested in finding tabular like difference matrix ..
I remember once my JSTL would not show up, and finaly I found it (i think it was in here somewhere ) that I had a wrong uri for the Core refferencing a JSTl 1.0 while I had jars for 1.1 something like that ...
its totaly disasterouse how web.xml declaration tags have been changed between these versions, and so far I have not found any doc, post or etc .., anywhere that outlines the differences, I have suspiciouse that exam will have question or two to trip you into the older way of declaring (a taglib for example .)

because I want to see what is the difference for example in web.xml syntax btetween 2.3 and 2.5 versions , I know there are a lot of changes that have bitten me before ... so are you saying that anythings older than 2.5/2.0 should be considered absolete?

for my notes that I am preparing for the certification I want to create table matrix that displays all the versions of servlet/jsp that right confuse the #!@$ out of me, its quite confusing that there is a different numbering for servlets and different for jsp and different for j2ee , so does any one know a page or any refference that I can look up all the versions of servlet/jsp and corresponding j2ee spec versions to them ?
thanks in advance
I know its bearly pass score but I am proud of it,
Biggest hit I got was not prepearing good anough with Threads and Inner classes.
I could feel the presence of K&B during exam, style was very very very similiar, so. K&B certification book is a "must have" for exam preperations.
now moving on to SCJD exam, thanks to all and this extraordinary forum
Best Regards.

the only reson you would want to close a project is if you have Eclipse set to auto build projects then you should not waist resources building projects that you are not working on at that moment ...
usualy you will not see open project link from the file menu,
if you see closed project it will be in light blue color,
you can right click on that and open it from context menu,
or if you dont see projects at all then either :
check the working set, you do this by clicking down pointing arrow in package explorer or navigation views, its a last button in top right corner and from there you should click edit active working set or deselect active working set (to display all projects)...
or check filters make sure that they do not fiter out your project.
I agree, I find JSF more of a business need for some companies and a push to make it a allaround buzzword, I dont find anything in it that can be a new base , "a node" or a movement ..... (like it was when Craig came out with Struts ) in reality I find JSF just another product not the greatest one either .... and thats why it should not be included as a strong empisized entity in IntelliJ,I think.
my choices would be:
multi-project support,
easy way setting up pallet like view that can be fueld with any TLD(s) and also let that TLD be base of the intellisence autocomplete for JSP(s) and like pages ...
not to eager for JSF support personally, more would be things like :
J2EE app server integrations Support, incremental (re-)deployments,decent HTTP monitor.
built in profiler,
I still consider AJAX just an eyecandy, it does not realy bring anything seriouse on the table...
besides interactivity and that whole "milti-threaded request-response" bull.. that gives more headache to developers from the other perspectives of the application ...
I think tradeoff margin is quite thin
for what ajax can offer positive VS negative

JSF
I think that comes from C, as I remember correctly in C, if you say

it means same as

so from this point of view it makes sence , but ... again
java is not C ..
congrats!!!
since my exam is comming up in three weeks I would really like to have time to read your notes if you dont mind emailing to me at dlevancho@gmail.com
thanks in advance
