HI,

I am making sequence diagram for some project that i made. It was very complex.

First, there was call from java to jni, then there are number of calls from jni to java. with parameters. I am unable to specify these calls in Sequence diagram. Someone can lead me towards the solution?

Sequence diagrams are general-purpose diagrams, which can show synchronous and asynchronous interaction between multiple systems or processes. As such they seem a reasonable fit for what you have described so far, so I'm guessing there must be some more detailled problems which you have not mentioned.

Can you explain a bit more about (a) who needs your diagram, and what they need to do with it, and (b) what you have tried so far , and (c) what problems you have encountered?

  • who needs your diagram, and what they need to do with it

  • I am going to hand over the module (coded) to other developer and he needs to understand things, how these are working and how i have populated the the beans from the JNI.

  • what you have tried so far

  • I have tried to show simple calls that i made in JAVA, then using a DOTED line a separated the C++ CLASS labeling JNI layer.

  • what problems you have encountered?

  • I am treating the C++ Class as simple other class with no specific thing mentioning except that of JNI Comment in labels. I want to know is there any specific way to DOCUMENT the JNI calls, with Java.
