Hi, I'm looking for a free uml tool to export my diagram into eclipse so that i can use it with Acceleo(code generator). Acceleo needs an XMI file to convert it into UML file. Then the free case tool must be able to export to a XMI file and supports UML 2.X by preference. Thank you for your advice.

Take a look at StarUML, I liked it. Supports UML2 and XMI export and is fast.

Hi! You should give this one a try: http://www.visual-paradigm.com/product/vpuml/ There's a free community edition, it is UML version 2.1 and it's really good

Hi Engineok, welcome to the ranch! Please review the Official policy on registered names - there are very few rules around here but adherence to the naming policy is one of them. You can adjust your display name here. Thank You for your cooperation.

Try JUDE Communtiy Edition. Its a very good UML tool. Not sure if it supports UML 2.0 [ July 19, 2007: Message edited by: Venkatesh Sai ]

You can look at the UML section of the Software Development Tools Directory. Most of the tools listed here are open source. [ August 08, 2007: Message edited by: Frank Martinig ]
