Are there any free IDE versions out there that support creating/debugging servlets?. I've loaded a few so far that don't, and yes I could debug 1st and add servlet code later but why if there is servlet one available.

I haven't tried myself, but someone wrote that it is possible to debug servlets with the free version of JBuilder.
There are supposed to be some guidelines on the Borland community site.

Try IBM's VisualAge for Java. I'm not sure about the free edition but in the Enterprise Edition, it comes with a wonderful Websphere Test Environment for testing/debugging servlets and jsps.
