Working for San Francisco based company
General Skills:
BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
3-5 years industry experience
3+ years Java experience
5+ years C experience
2+ years UNIX experience
Required Skills (some or all of the following):
Must *NOT* have seen any of Sun's Java intellectual property and
must not have signed any of Sun's Java licenses, including the
Sun Community Source License (SCSL)
2+ years experience with Virtual Machine design and implementation.
Experience in compiler design, specifically resource-limited compiler
design such as "just-in-time" compilers
Knowledge of the x86, MIPS and ARM processor architectures
Low-level experience with GNU tool chain (including internals of GCC)
Experience developing Java libraries
Experience with CVS source control system
Desired Skills:
Experience with interpreter design
2+ years Linux system level experience
Knowledge of SH3/4 and PowerPC architectures
Low-level experience with GNU GCJ compiler internals
Good-To-Have Skills:
Knowledge of Sparc and Alpha architectures
Misc. Skills:
Good language skills, care about excellence, team leader
