For those of you who still haven't tried Eclipse and/or WebSphere Studio Application Developer -- (1) IBM now has trial downloads of the full WebSphere Studio Application Developer toolkit (include Servlet/JSP, XML/XSLT and EJB development) for both Windows and Linux available here: http://www-4.ibm.com/software/webservers/studio/preregister.html. I'm just starting to use the Linux version now after months of using the Windows versions... Pretty cool... (2) Eclipse (e.g. WebSphere Studio Workbench, the base platform for WebSphere Studio Application Developer) now features a C/C++ IDE plugin. I've been experimenting with it on Windows and (now) on Linux and it's pretty impressive, but still noticably a beta. It's available here: http://www.eclipse.org/tools/index.html. The environment is SPECIFICALLY for Linux development, but I've made it work with only a few tweaks in Windows using MINGWIN32.
