We're using a hypersonic database. The database only allows one connection. When exiting a swing app that is running within VAJ, the connection is not unloaded when calling System.exit(1). The only way to close the connection is to close the IDE entirely.
Any way around this?

I am using poolman to manage the connections. Since my stand alone Hypersonic can have only one connection, after exting th GUI application either Poolman or VAJ does hold to that connection.
If my VAJ4 had JDK1.3, I would have tried something using the java.lang.ShutDown class.
Any help?
