I am trying to use the EJB 1.1 export tool in VisualAge 4.0 Enterprise Edition to export EJBs originally developed in VisualAge 3.5. I have installed the latest fixpack for EJB Export Tool (version 4.1.5). However, when I choose an EJB Group and click on "Export > EJB 1.1 JAR", the dialog that opens asks "Select a target database". The problem is that the combobox that should list databases is empty and cannot be written to. Since I cannot choose a target database, the export operation cannot be completed.
I saw a message on an IBM newsgroup where someone had a similar problem, but there were no answers. Can anybody help?
Best regards,
Ville Peurala

If you delete the database Schema you can export.

Hello,
I am having the same problem and I could not understand your answer (delete the database schema). Could you or anyone shed more lights to resolve this issue. I really appreciate all the input. Looking forward for reply.
Thanks & Regards,
Pinal.
