Position: Sr. EJB Developer with ACID Properties (Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability -of course) Location: Downtown Chicago Travel Required: None WILL RELOCATE Salary Range: $80-110K (over $110K will be a stretch, but might be doable based on experience) + Bonus Inside Track: This #3 of 12 openings that Roy Talman has an exclusive on, they are not even going to be posted on the company website or job boards for at least a few weeks. We are working closely with them to assemble the right team. This is new growth, not house cleaning. Company Description: This company is a major player in the financial community. The IT group within this firm is in charge of the back office, workflow, security and databases. They are well funded and eliminate the typical bureaucracy associated with large corporations. A casual environment, free lunches, awesome benefits and great bonuses are only a few reasons to work for this great company. Details: The company is using object to relational mapping instead of JDBC or ODBC to reduce the development time, preserve the existing RDMSs, and improve overall performance. They need a solid EJB developer who is intimately familiar with ACID properties and Object to Relational (O/R) Mapping to work hand in hand with the Database person doing the mapping as business rules change and are revised. Requirements: Must have EJB Development experience where O/R Mapping was used within a J2EE based architecture. Experience working with the Data Service Layer and related O/R Mapping Tool, as well as Business Service Layer, namely with the Business Rules Engine. Direct experience with TOP LINK and ILOG JRULE is a HUGE plus. This is one of a dozen openings for a top shelf team that is actually experiencing positive growth. The career path is tremendous here.
