I'm pretty sure they mean: We offer salary in the range of Rs.2 lakhs or more, per year, based on experience. But that's just speculation.

We've set the base as One lakh per year of experience. It is the base, not the limit. Also, we prefer candidates presently in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad or any other cities in South India so that it will be convenient to bring them in for an interview.

You can check out the detailed description using the link above and post your resume to jobs@lucid.co.in mentioning that you came through JavaRanch. You need not post through that site.

Pradeep, From what I understood from Ram's message, his compensation is Rs1 lakh per year of experience. So, if you have 8 years of experience, he will pay you min Rs 8 lakhs yearly. Ram, please correct me if I am wrong. Anyway, Pradeep, I am curious, what is the current rate of compensation for IT professionals? Say, someone who has 10Yrs IT experience? In Bangalore or Hyderabad? Thank you

If you have 1 year of experience you get paid Rs 1 lakh per annum. So at the end of 10 years you will have earned Rs.10 lakhs. If you wait for one more year and join them next year, you will already have 2 yrs of experience by then. That means you will get Rs. 2Lakhs per annum. So at the end of 10 years from now, you will have earned 0 + 9*2 = 18 lakhs. if u wait 2 years, 8*3 = 24 if u wait 3 years, 7*4 = 28 if u wait 4 years, 6*5 = 30 That's the threshold if u wait 5 years, 5*6 = 30 and then it decreases. Or is Ram saying that that they will increase the salary by Rs 1 lakh per annum every year? so that u get 1 + 2 + ...= 55?
