I am looking for experienced Java Embedded Architects. The position involves implementation of JVM, Java Class Libraries and native methods on Advanced Digital Cable TV SetTop Boxes.
Position Requirements: Knowledge of J2ME, CLDC and Java API design is required. Minimum 3+ years experience in software development with Java and OO technologies desirable. Experience with writing and interfacing with firmware using low-level languages (ex: assembler language) a plus.
The salary for the position will max out around $80K, perhaps higher depending on background and skills. Please note that Sponsorship will not be provided for the position.

I recommend reducing the requirements and be willing to train those who have shown the ability to learn.

Unfortunately I don't have that luxury. I need someone that has experience in the technology. It doesn't matter whether the individual was from the West Coast or East Coast. Thank you for checking out the ad though. Please let any friends or collegues know about the position.
