NetBeans 3.5 is unbelievably FAST!!!

I just downloaded the beta version (nightly build) of Netbeans - version 3.5 and was amazed by the speed and responsiveness of this up and coming release.
Fantastic work guys. I eagerly await the stable release.

I agree. It does seem to run with much better performance than the current stable release. I noticed a great deal of performance increase in the GUI Building element.
I guess SWING can be programmed to perform well after all.
