I have been tasked to research a reporting solution for my company's J2EE product. I have a list of tools to research; I was hoping someone would offer their experiences with any tool listed.
Thanks...
The List:
- Formula One e.Report Engine
- Crystal Reports
- JReport
- Style Report/EE
P.S. If your experiences are with a tool not listed, please include it. I am not making the claim my list is closed or exhaustive.

Approx. an year ago I had to do the same thing for the company I was working for then. I've looked over 5 or 6 products but in the end we've used JReport. We've used it as an engine for building custom reports for a J2EE application and I remember i was quite pleased with the results.
I know it's not to much of a review, but one year is a long time :-)

I've also used JReport and I would give it high marks. There are a few bugs, as there are in almost any software, but overall it was a pretty useful tool.

I don't see the best (to my consideration) reporting tool in Java - Apache FOP.

Thanks for the remarks for JReport. I'll be sure to pay close attention to that tool.
Also, thanks for the tip on Apache FOP. I've added it to my list of tools to research.
Thanks, again.
