MyEclipse absorbed the best JBoss plugin. There is a 30 day trial, after which the cost is $30 annually. Running and debugging servlets and EJBs is very easy using this.
There is one on the JBoss site called JBoss IDE. I haven't used it yet, but I'm going to go try it out now... I've also just started using JBoss recently!

JBoss IDE comes with a tutortial and a project that can be imported into Eclipse. Best of all it works! It uses xdoclet.

The professor for my master's degree class in advanced Java elected to use JBoss and MyEclipse. It's great when you can use tools so relevant in the job market in a class. I'm reading all the posts regarding Eclipse since I'm fairly new using it. I'd be especially interested in any debugging hints.

I've used Jboss-ide. The code-assist for xdoclet is real cool. Jim, Have you tried debugging EJBs with JBoss-ide ? Is the tutorial a separate download ? I installed my plugin via plugin-manager.

Has anyone used either of these on a Mac (OSX)? If so, I'd be interested to know about your experience. Minnie SCJP
