I am trying to use the NMAKE build utility in Eclipse for my Project .I have configured an external tool where the NMAKE.exe location is specified. The NMAKE utility requires a MAKEFILE to execute. Also I have linked resources in my project. How do I point my external tool to use the MAKEFILE when i run the NMAKE tool . Right now it is not able to find the MakeFile when the command is executed.

Have you tried setting the argument to ${workspace_loc:/projectname/yourmakefile}

Yes I did , but i get an error message saying unable to expand workspace_loc. Also the Makefile does not reside in the workspace directory of eclipse but it is on my local file system . My project is part of the eclipse workspace and it needs to refer to the Makefile when build is performed using NMAKE tool.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
