Suggession regarding "SEARCH"

Hello,
I have been wondering why such a good site with whole lot of stuff does not have any search option.
Suppose I wish to 'search' for particular topic that has been already discussed at length. So I will just enter that keyword and get the required info at once.Right now we ve to submit the topic then somebody(hopefully) gives the previous links(correct and working) and so on.
So instead why not have a search option? Is it tedious to achieve or will it create any technological problem?
Please think over it. Thanks.

if you look just under the "POST REPLY" button on the top right hand side of your screen ... you'll see we do have a search facility! i know it's not very visible but we're restrained by the capabilities of the UBB software we use.

Pounding at a thick stone wall won't move it, sometimes, you need to step back to see the way around.
