According to the manual, it does. I haven't tried it out though.

Me neither. I once installed the plugin, but I have the habit of losing most plugins in a week... Darwinism at its best (although the most common reason for dropping a plugin is simply the lack of need for such and such a feature)

I couldn't use the update manager for that. So I downloaded the .zip and extracted it into my plugins directory.
Plugins from eclipse.org that are required to run the SFTP plugin: (the Update Manager automatically installs these) * org.eclipse.team.extras_2.1.0.jar * org.eclipse.team.ftp_2.1.0.jar * org.eclipse.team.webdav_2.1.0.jar * org.eclipse.webdav_2.1.0.jar
Where do I put these .jar files once I download them?
