When I tried running the application , i got VAPReadFailure Exception - can not read from database.
Do I need to map the models to datastore ?Do I have to configure VAP models as we do for EJB's.

I'm sorry but I can't be of help. I've used Visual Age for Java for about 5 minutes or less.

Hello Manas,
I feel your pain, but I have not used VisualAge for Java in ages...
It's not J2EE compliant and the Persisence Builder (VAP) was a real nightmare as I recall from an engagement over three years ago that I would really rather forget.
I can empathize with you, but I only keep VisualAge for Java on my computer so that I can show students how to move stuff from the VAJ Composition Editor to WebSphere Studio.
Are you truly stuck with that poor old IDE? It was great in its day, when there was nothing better, and I started using VAJ as Version 2, but I strongly suggest that it's time to move on to newer tools.
