For example: IBM DB2 client, Visual explain or any DB client tool that can plug-in in Eclipse so we can view database model or fields or be able to run ad-hoc sql queries.
There are several listed here, but I cast a 2nd vote for JFaceDbc.

I am using JFaceDbc, too! Haven't tried the others, so I can't compare them, though.
