Eclipse complains about assert, saying

The line of code in question is

I searched this site and found a post on this topic, but the solution may have been for a different version, as I have already chosen 1.4 compliance in the preferences. This did not work. Im using Eclipse 2.0

Personally, I would upgrade to Eclipse 2.1.x or Eclipse 3.0M5
