basic, very basic question.
I have unzipped my eclipse downloaded file (eclipse-SDK-3.0M8-linux-gtk-amd64.zip) in /home/user/eclipse folder.
I tried typing this:
/home/aegonzal/eclipse/eclipse
but I get this error:
bash: /home/aegonzal/eclipse/eclipse: cannot execute binary file
what am I doing wrong? my path is:
/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.1/bin:/home/aegonzal/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.1/bin:/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.1/bin
thanks!

This might be a stupid question, but are you really running a 64-bit AMD processor?
