Candidates must have solid Delphi and Java development experience. Financial applications development experience is desirable but not essential. This role is based in NYC until December 2003, after that time it will be based in Westchester (Stamford area). � Experience with both Solaris 2.x and Windows NT 4.x preferred. � At least 4 years experience with Java (JDK 1.x-3.x) in a professional capacity required. � Experience with Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) required. � Strong server programming abilities essential including: Servlets, JSP, EJB, JNDI and JMS. � Experience with either Oracle 7.x-8.x or Sybase 11.x required. � Experience with Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) using a production EJB server such as BEA WebLogic Server or IBM WebSphere required. � Experience with multi-tier architecture and production Internet architectures required. � Advanced knowledge of distributed computing using either the Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI) or Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) technologies such as IONA Orbix Web or equivalent required.
