Technical Lead/Java/System Operations SF Bay Area-CA

Foundation Systems is looking for a seasoned Java Consultant with strong experience in Struts, XML, and Weblogic Server 6.0.
Technical skills required:
* 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in the area
of software development, deployment, performance engineering,
and tools development.
* 3+ years of experience as a technical lead / mentor with project
planning and design specifications responsibility.
* Significant experience tuning the performance and optimizing
web-base N-tier workflow applications at a code level.
* Java, AWK, ANT, Shell scripts, TCP/IP, UNIX, Tomcat, Apache.
* Familiar with enterprise product running in a highly heterogeneous
environment: all flavors of OS (more UNIX than Windows/Mac),
database, webservers, network, you name it.
* Low level / systems operations experience: complied linux kernel or
knows about memory performance.
* Been named Jack of all trades and strong interest in learning
about, using, and developing open source tools.
Soft skills required:
* Talented problem solver with strong leadership skills.

(company is growing out of the current space and is
planning to relocate to San Francisco or 510 area
code by the end of the year)
Term: Permanent (up to 120K salary, stock options, full benefits)
