Hi, could someone please take the time to recommend a development platform for J2ME with test environment. Is the book from Jonathan Knudsen still up to date, or is it `yet outdated? regards Axel

Nokia now offers Nokia Mobile Server Services SDK 1.4. This seems to be a new offer not covered by Michael Yuans article from 2003 (links by Dirk). What about this? Any experience? I think I am going to try this one. Axel

The Nokia Mobile Server Service SDK is an API library and a server emulator (based on JBoss) for server services -- not J2ME. It allows you to develop apps to interact with the MMSC, presence server and location server in telecomms. It is a SDK not an IDE although it does have an Eclipse-based management client.
