Hi Evelyn,

Welcome to JavaRanch!

You're right that the "Java in General" forums aren't the best place to ask this question, because we've got a whole forum devoted to IDEs like WSAD (and Eclipse, its open-source sibling). I'm going to move this thread there.

Evylen,
IBM has redbooks (PDF books.) The WSAD ones walk you through using the tool and provide tips. If you are looking for anything more specific, feel free to reply in this thread.

And welcome to JavaRanch!

Thanks for the link. Do you know any other sites other than IBM that offer reviews/critiques of Websphere studio, or papers that discuss how businesses can best use websphere studio features, also I'm interested in how it relates to agile software development, I know this is a lot to ask, I am just learning about this for a project but if anyone knows of good sites where I can get this info(other than IBM) I'd greatly appreciate it.

Evylen,
Websphere world has some good resources. Beyond that I would suggest using google. Do a search with the technology you are looking for (like JSP) and WSAD.

Also, many of the agile technology articles have screenshots of examples in Eclipse. WSAD is built on Eclipse, so there are good too.
