I'm a certifiable noob with Java and JBuilder. I've upgraded to JB2005, and now, whenever I make any change to my web app, it does a complete recompilation of all 200+ items when I just needed one JSP saved/built. Is there an option that I can check to keep the IDE from doing this?

Thanks for the help,

Dan

If I understand you correctly, you should be able to just right-click the file you want to build a select make or rebuild. This will only process this one file.

However, if such a file has any dependencies on other classes, JBuilder will compile those classes too.

I hope that helps..

Ok, for the record, I'm an extreme noob to this. My company just threw me to the wolves on this contract.

I found out that rebuild = full compile, and build = single file compile. Thanks for the info.
