Hi !
I try use Eclipse 3.01 on a linux machine (suse 9.2, kde 3.3) an it seamns to works until I try to do something(edit a file or compile) - then it crashes(I get a window saying "JVM terminated. Error code=7").
I try the 3.1(M2..M4) the same stuff.
And now the funny part.
I have an "old machine" with suse 9.1 (kde 3.2) where the ecplise works! so I try to install the "old" 9.1 but, the same mistake(eclipse crash).
Do I need some "special" package to install ?

This happened to me sometime back.....

I was told to check for multiple versions of jre...
if so, delete the older one and keep the latest.....

I tried with different jdks but I have the same effect(random crash).
What realy strange is that I have a system nearly with the same software where it works without any problems.
My question is what I need to to run eclipse under linux (with kde 3.3) ?
