Dear members,

I had downloaded the NetBean Ide and written simple console application

import java.io.*;
public class Test
{
public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException
{
BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
br.readLine();
}
}

when i run the above java file with the help of the NetBean Ide (4.1) it is not at all prompting for the string to be read.

I want to know this is the installation problem or NetBean dont support for console to read.

thank u
