Exclipse and CVS

Hi, I am trying to work in eclipse using CVS as the version control tool. I have made a new project which connects to the CVS reporsitory but am not able to start the build. The project is showing all the latest code from CVS but a click on Build option does not do anything.
Any clues?

If the project output directory is up to date build is often smart enough to see that.

What does happen on a clean?

Are you sure it's a Java project?
