I am aware of Eclipse plug-ins for actionscript development. Are there any out there for Netbeans or should I just go ahead and learn Eclipse- I'm a noob to IDEs and am trying to pick one as I am improving my JAVA and Actionscript development. Thanks in advance.

Although I have not checked there is a much better chance of a plugin for eclipse for developing actionscript. I would recommend eclipse anyways, Netbeans is way to clunky (read: slow and unresponsive) for me.
