For over 20 years, TSG IT Resources has provided clients in the information technology arena nationwide with the technical and administrative expertise to meet or exceed their IT objectives. Our Client in the Chicago Loop is in need of Senior Developer � FX Options On-line Dealing - Integration for a 6 month project
Job Description;
Responsible for design, prototyping, implementation, testing and deployment of FX options automated dealing system. Must utilize J2EE design and development skills to integrate market data feeds, web-based user interface and vendor position management system into a scalable dealing platform. Must have worked with quantitative analysts to integrate new and existing option valuation models into scalable pricing engine, also responsible for testing and verification of accuracy of pricing modules (jointly with QA team).
Technical Skills: Should have prior hands-on experience designing and implementing high-volume, highly-availability trading system components based on a service-oriented architecture and J2EE technologies. It would be a strong plus to have experience with WebLogic Server, JMS and Oracle clusters. Candidate must have extensive experience with XML, strong plus to have experience with XML-based messaging. Should have some experience building pricing models for financial products. FpML or TWIST experiences a plus.
Business Knowledge: Must have experience in capital markets trading with some knowledge of pricing theory, ideally of foreign exchange instruments. It would be a strong plus to have strong formal education in mathematics and finance (ideally MSc in computational finance).
Leadership Skills: Must be able to mix hands-on development with coordination of development activities across different teams � business users, quantitative analysts, server-side developers, client-side developers and QA. While this role is completely hands-on development it is considered a plus to have prior experience managing small to medium-sized development teams.
Location: Chicago (preferred) or New York.
