Jenny,
Eclipse doesn't support JSP out of the box. This means that the ability to set a breakpoint in a JSP is determined by the plugin you are using for JSP support. Which plugin are you using?

Jenny,
When you edit the JSP, does it show in colors? If not, you aren't using a JSP plugin and definitely can't debug the JSP.

For plugins, did you install anything else besides Eclipse? For example, WTP, Lomboz, MyEclipse, JBoss IDE, Tomcat plugin...

Another way is to do help --> plugins and look for anything that could be the JSP plugin.

I didn't install any plug-in except the Tomcat server.

Ok. Then you need to install a plugin in order to debug JSPs. Sysdeo is free. MyEclipse is not free, but easier to use.

Is MyEclipse a plug-in to the Eclipse? So I can still use Eclipse as my IDE? Thanks.
