Hi Guys,
Can any one please tell me if Eclipse 3.2 is free ? Do i need any license if i want to use it in the firm where i work ?

eclipse is open source IDE. you can use it.

What may causing you some confusion is that some companies have rolled Eclipse with custom plugins and sell it as a bundle, such as MyEclipse.

Also check your company's policies. They may not allow you to run software that's not been distributed through some department.

Yes Eclipse is free and will be free in the future. See
