can i somehow know if im working under eclipse?
dose eclipse has some kind of Global variables i can check in my code?

Well, eclipse does set up some stuff that helps things like IDE plugins find their way around, but I'm not sure what you're actually looking for.

Well, the Help option of Eclipse will tell you the version. Is that what you're looking for?
